Seen on a public road through Bovington (tank training area) in Dorset a road sign "Warning! Tanks Crossing" to which someone had added "And we're bigger than you" (not funny, but accurate). Surely one of the more famous pieces of graffitti apopeared on a wall outside Paddington Station in letters three feet high: "Far away is close at hand in images of elsewhere" - that was there for a few years. I believe the wall has since been demolished.
