Guitar-tuning will tend not to sound very "Celtic". Try GDAD or ADAD. As for playing style, the masters (such as Andy Irvine or Donal Lunny) dont really play chords per se, but rather counterpoint melodies. Yahoo Groups has a Cittern group, with many professional players, where you can find out much useful information. Cheers, Michael
