...It's not as is she's not qualified on paper to do this, having once won an All-Ireland singing trophy (I think when she was in a band called Oige which was OK) but that WOMAD should think she's the one to do it NOW. Diane, you'd have been even more upset if WOMAD had asked Mary Black or Andrea Corr to do it.
