Joff Lowson ,banjo maestro, played a fabulous set at the Valley Folk Club in Pontardawe last night. Accompanied by his musical pal Chris Davies he performed a range of old timey ,traditional and americana songs and tunes on a beast of a banjo.
American born but now living in Bristol , he has been a stalwart of the bluegrass scene in Britain for some time and is a former member of the Jalapeno Pickers and the Coal Porters.Catch him if he comes down your way!!
The Valley Folk Club will be running a two hour singing session at the Pontardawe Music Festival on friday the 17th August and is keen for musicians and singers to drop in !
