Hello out there! I'm not sure who to write to so that everyone sees this. I'm George Goehring and wrote the music to "Sama Kama Wacky Brown" as well as the words, with Ed Warren. I got such a kick out of seeing all the correspondence on the song and all the curiosity about its origin. We wrote it in 1960 for The Brothers Four one afternoon in New York City so it was not an adaptation from an old camp song. It became a camp song after The Brothers Four recorded it -- much to our surprise!!!
