I saw Cages Bend - headline act over here from Nashville - in a warm-up gig in a pub in Looe last night. They are good, very good. The bass player (who, I have to say as a bass player myself, is outstanding) works as a barrel hoister in the Jack Daniels distillery. Talk about living the life.
