Since I started this thread, I would like to take the chance to encourage all of you to avail yourselves of these opportunities. No matter what level you may feel your singing is at, you will find encouragement, and you will learn much about our beloved folk music. You will make friends, and you will feel the warmth and fulfillment that only happens when beautiful souls lift voices up together. And you will be contributing to the perpetuation of our music and our craft. Join these organizations. And do yourself a favor and go to these weekends.
