I heard Brendan Begley sing this at a concert a few weeks ago, and would like to learn it. It's on his CD "We Won't Go Home 'Til Morning." I have the CD, but I'm having trouble making out some of the lyrics, and I was wondering if anyone had them. This is what I have so far (and I suspect not all of these words are correct): The Kerry Hills With great affection and recollection I oft times wander Oer memory's lane My dreams of childhood By glen and wildwood Where I roamed and rambled In my boyhood days Chorus: But ah sad memory Is all *** And in my bosom sadder thoughts instill Of the days so merry When we plucked the berry On the verdant slopes Of the Kerry hills I've seen the Atlantic Both wild and frantic Swirl those cliffs With her angry foam Swing back defeated Like *** retreating *** foam and *** From my Kerry home (Chorus) I wonder where Are all my schoolmates Some are dead And far and gone Some are weeping Or in churchyards sleeping Where the West **** With **** (Chorus)
