yes.. sometimes.. perhaps not many, or very often, these days.. but yes.. 'folk' songs could still be 'political'. btw.. 30 years ago.. long exhausting student/media debates if punk songs were really political..!!??? arguements still raging today in student common rooms & Uni bars..?????????? ps.. my generation of agit pop funk punk folk 'subversives' are now the middle aged farts holding high office in local councils and higher education.. hah.. race you for the delete button old man clone..
