The Getaway was just a tad smaller this year, but in many ways that made it better, more intimate. I was suffering from the general crap of fall (not sure if it was a cold, or just allergies) so left about 1/2 through the Saturday concert, went home, went to bed). However, what I observed from when I was there was very good.

I think this year the Mudcatters and FSGW folks are truly one. Friendships have matured and cross pollination has taken place. That in and of itself made it a good getaway.

What was that 3 stringed instrument that Gordon Bok was playing in his mini-concert?

My favorite song of the weekend was Dottie Hurlie's Moonlight Savings Time. Dottie do you have the lyrics/chords? Can you post them?

Dragon was Awesome! Watch out!

Sorry I missed the Saturday night jam and ALL of Sunday. Next Year.
