Duncan and I were roommates at the Lakeland Storytelling Festival (produced by Taffy Thomas)about six years ago. We stayed up every night until three or four in the morning swapping tales we had both learned in our families. Then Duncan would wake me up around six a.m. or so with a hot cup of tea and the admonishment not to sleep my day away. I'll miss his voice, his stories. He was a gentleman and a rascal and I'll miss that more than anything. My thoughts are with his family and the entire storytelling community in Scotland and England. Dan Keding
