This is My first attempt at writing a blues song
sang it at one of the local clubs,
It seemed to go down ok.


Mama was a singer
She wore a dress of green
People came for miles around just to hear her sing
Her Jazz and Blues they were the best
She told her life in story
The people gathered round
So many people came to hear her sing
They were queuing round the town

The people stood in silence
When momma sang the blues
Didn't really matter which song she would choose

Well Momma she stopped singing
When poppa came to town
He said it was the devils music
It was the devils sound
