Brendy whether you mean to or not you do come across as patronising. You say you could manage fine in England but you haven't actually tried it have you? Come over and support yourself for a year in the folk scene and then preach to us. Anon has been there. You haven't. That is, if you could get the gigs. Not because you're not good enough but because they're N O T T H E R E. Get it?
