A great piece of drama, very moving. Glad to see they had a good set, costumes and equipment, obviously wasnt cheaply made, this contributed to its rawness in the battle scenes! By the way if you want a great hard hitting book to read about WW1 and Dublin regiments that fought in the first world war would recommend A Long Long way by Sebastian Barry. What a book!! Anyway good on yer ITV for making this drama.
