Hello there, Yes, I know Alastair McDonald reasonably well as he goes to the church I used to go to when I was still back home in Glasgow. He is still very much alive and well, singing and playing a bit, but doing a lot of radio work on Saga Radio for example. Funny you should mention "White Wings" as I have the same cassette and listened to it endlessly when I lived in Japan and was homesick for Scotland! The best to you, Mrs B xxx
