BTW, I'd imagine Gene is well aware that Nick Drake, Jake Thackray et al shuffled off their mortal coils long before he ever picked up a guitar. My guess is his prominent featuring of those artists is intended to signal where he's coming from musiclly rather than to imply he enjoys a close personal relationship with them... (...then again, I'm told the man has a complex and not entirely harmonious relationship with the truth...ho hum indeed!)

Back to the Main Forum Page

By clicking on the Thread Name, you will be sent to the Forum on that thread as if you selected it from the main Mudcat Forum page.

By clicking on the Subject, you will also go to the thread as if you selected it from the original Forum page, but also go directly to that particular message.

By clicking on the Date (Posted), you will dig out every message posted that day.
