I just found this site. It brought back some memories. I was a waitress in the Cafe' Wha in the late 60's. Jimmy James and the Blue Flames just finished playing there. The house band was the Raves. We had Catmother, Kangaroo (John Hall w/Orleans and ND Smart w/Mountain), Night People (Bob Mason drummer), Hello People, Banchee, Cherry People (a lot of "People" groups), Ramones, gosh, so many of todays musicians played there. What a time to live in the Village. The owner of the Wha, was Manny Roth, David Lee Roth's uncle.
