GUEST,Waco Jacko The Write Note - Faldingworth Dec22nd 07 (24) RE: The Write Note - Faldingworth Dec22nd 07 14 Dec 07

Repeating some of what Les has already said plus some background -
It started off as a monthly lunchtime session at the Lincoln Central Library earlier this year. The idea was to encourage half a dozen musicians to come along and provide some live acoustic music at lunchtime for both visitors to the library and live music fans. It's not the "Shoosh Factor" you really can have music and loud voices in a library!

Hosted by Strummin' Steve Jackson, the informal atmosphere and the participation of local artists was well received and it's now a regular monthly spot at the Library. It's also led for requests for the "Write Note" to be staged elsewhere and there's now a regular monthly lunchtime session at the Golden Eagle in Lincoln (next one Wednesday 19th December) All these sessions are free and both musicians and audience are welcomed.

The first one outside of Lincoln takes place in a special evening concert on Saturday December 22nd 2007 at Faldingworth Memorial Hall.
The confirmed line-up of performers will include Abi Moore, Gwenda & Terry Cater, Stitherum. Paul Young, Richard Langridge & Kathryn O'Connor, John Pape and host Steve Jackson.

A small door charge of £1 will be made and the bar will be open. The audience is welcome to bring something for the buffet table. The music will be all acoustic without PA.

This is the last live music event at Faldingworth for 2007

Doors open at 7:30pm for 8:00pm prompt start.
