Dear Heavenly Twins, The "Mary Ellen Carter" is a sustaining song, isn't it? I read years ago that a sailor whose tanker sank from under him off the New Jersey coast floated with a life ring for 3 days before being rescued. He told a reporter that he sang the song over and over to himself, and it helped him to keep holding on. To have written a song that saved someone's life! Today I'm picturing the Morgan with 6 inches of snow on her yards and deck... Six months to go! Jerry
