Hope this is the one. This is a beautiful song. Glad you asked I haven't heard this one for a while. I don't know if there is another version. This one doesn't have the words you wrote.

AUTUMN LEAVES
English Lyrics by Johnny Mercer and Music by Joseph Kosma

The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hand(s) I used to hold

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hand I used to hold

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

Artist: Andy Williams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tI5dZTZhwM8 - lyrics are an exact transcription of this recording.
Lyrics are the same in Johnny Mercer: The Life, Times, and Song Lyrics of our Huckleberry Friend, by Bob Bach & Ginger Mercer (1982) - except the book has "hands."
