I took a trip to Ireland and heard a beautiful ballad sung by an old man in a pub. The ballad was about an Irishman who lives in Australia yet misses his sweatheart back home. I can't remember much else, except it talked about an Australian bay 'becoming' an Irish one in the man's imagination (as he looked over it he thought of home). Anyone know what I'm talking about? |
