In reply to Guest Lindsay, Roll Along Covered Wagon Roll Along was a big hit of 1934. The words are as follows:

Roll along covered wagon, roll along.
To the tune of your wheels I'll sing a song,
City girls they may be fine, but give me that girl of mine.
Roll along covered wagon roll along.

Thh words quoted by Guest, Lindsay are interesting as they seem to have been compounded with a street version: in 1935 or 6 when Italy invaded Abyssinia we kids used to sing this version to the tune of Roll Along Covered Wagon:

Will you come to Abyssinia, will you come?
Bring all your ammunition and a gun,
Mussolini will be there shooting peanuts in the air,
Will you come to Abyssinia, will you come?
