There's been some good TV in the UK recently (even if Lark Rise was a disappointment).
But the 90-minute documentary on BBC4 on Sunday 'Soweto Strings' was superb, about teaching the kids to play violin and other classical stringed instruments in a school in Soweto. Music mostly classical, but a sprinkling of very township fare too.
