Yes, but versions of songs aren't really the issue, neither. Was Lizzy's 'Whiskey in the Jar' a Folk Song, or a Rock Song, for instance? Categorisation does not lead to a narrow-minded view of music, in my opinion, if that is what one does with the music one hears; it does not mean that you should be confined, as a musician or fan to operating within that box. Nor should it? B.
