This was the first song I learnt to play on the piano to accompany my mother who had a very good trained mezzo-soprano voice and used to sing in recitals and concerts around her home town of Torquay before she was married. This song, along with a number of others, was in our piano stool from the time I started to learn piano. I am now 77 and it was lovely to find all this on the internet. Best wishes to all the Second Minuet Club.
