I have to agree that the BBC adaptation is a chintzy travesty of the original (and where the f*** did the Dawn French character come from?), but it has persuaded me to buy the re-release of the Albion album (now on iTunes). The Cottesloe production was one of those life-affirming gems of theatre - one of many such done there which featured John Tams and Ashley Hutchings - and I feel hugely privileged to have seen it.
