As a curtain raiser to the Kent Gathering which will be held in Frittenden village on Saturday 29th March, we are holding a 'Big Sing' at The Chequers, Church Lane, Challock on Saturday 2nd February from about 8.30 p.m. onwards. Members of the Millen Family will be appearing as their alter ego The Cider Sippers performing many of their comic songs as well as a few of their old-time family songs. This will be an opportunity to meet with some of the other guests and organisers responsible for the event. All singers, storytellers and musicians are extremely welcome for this informal evening of music. The Chequers lies close to the junction of Church Lane with Blind Lane, close to the village centre and opposite the long village green.
