PMB there was a two'fer CD of The Sprits and The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter as well, and the sound quality was just as dodgy.

as good as that site is it, too, only has July 1967 as the release date, and we are talking 41 years ago, almost. My Dad couldn't remembr the exact day of release either but he said it might make sense, given some labels release practices of the time that it could be either Thursday or Friday....end of the week, people have money to spand. :-)
