This is true... A couple I know were unsuccessfully trying to conceive. As part of the medical follow-up he had to provide a semen sample and the hospital laboratory suggested it be kept at body temperature before being brought in. So he placed the provided container and its fresh contents for safe keeping in the kettle which still had some warm water in it. Needless to say, while he wasn't looking, his wife decided to fill up and boil the kettle for a cup of tea without noticing its new contents and while he was away it cooled down again. My friend later received a very worried phone call from the hospital... RS
