The Shrewsbury Folk Festival has just signed the Duhks (pronounced Ducks) for 2008. This will be a unique opportunity for audiences in the UK to see one of the hottest bands on the North American folk circuit. The band comprises five young musicians from Winnipeg Manitoba, who will be wowing audiences in Australia in March with their brand of acoustic music, which includes soul, gospel, folk, Brazilian samba, old time country, Celtic, Zydeco and their brilliant interpretation of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" (see the festival web site). A simply nock out band - not to be missed.
