In Britain, these ugly things are being worn by everyone. Policeman, who use to look so smart, now look awful. What is the point of them? I can imagine if you are a traffic policeman, but a bobby on the beat? I saw a painter outside a cafe painting a wall and he wore a high visiability jacket - and a hard hat!

Have we gone mad? Why are they appearing everywhere? Is it just in Britain or is it everywhere?
