There hasn't been another musician that has meant more to me than Willie P. Bennett. I met him several times since I first saw him perform at the University of Waterloo in 1975. I watched the DVD last week of Willie performing in Holland with Fred Eaglesmith and all the way through I kept thinking, "I can't wait to see Willie perform again." Alas, I won't get the chance again. An inspiration and a thrilling performer. Thanks Willie.
