I bought a 96 button Chevallier in France, whilst on a brief 'cheap flight holiday' and it suffered some minor damage which has been successfully repaired professionally.
One of the feet of the carrying case had been pushed through the fabric into the edge of the keyboard. My advice would be to put extra packing in the case if you really have to tansport it in the cargo hold, as the Fragile notices seem to have been ignored!
