Yes, Simon, perhaps I should have made that clearer. It is indeed the radio player that is my problem. I note that the TV iPlayer is not available to anyone outside of the UK. I'm in Oz, and I'm wondering whether the failure I'm experiencing is an extension of this ban to the radio iPlayer also. I have installed and reinstalled RealPlayer, but to no avail. However, thanks for the tip. I note an awful lot of different problems detailed on the tech site. Doesn't seem to be a particularly healthy environment at the Beeb currently. MC
