I thought I was the only sad person who bought Jeepers Creepers by Hayley Mills but no..... MY excuse is that I was only about 14 and had a teenage crush.

It was a 45 rpm single, and needless to say I didn't have a record player. However I did try it on my Mum's old 78 wind up gramophone (turned the speed down & put the brake on) with completely predictable results.

But luckily I heard weird stuff on jukeboxes on RAF stations (I was a cadet you see). Then I started listening to Pick of the Pops with Alan Freeman - Brenda Lee, B Bumble & the Stingers, The Shads, Donegan, Joe Brown....
