If you're prepared to travel a bit, the Notts area (UK)is pretty magic! Farnsield Acoustic, the Tiger in Long Eaton, the Gladstone in Carrington, loads more. Leicester where we live is a bit less user friendly, but the Magazine springs to mind and it's not far to the Red Lion in Brum.

Will prob. go & see John Tams & Barry Coope at the Forest Tavern up Mansfield Rd. in Dottigub tonight . Saw Flossie Malavialle last week (sigh!) at the Carrington Triangle. Lots of floor singers there. Saw the marvellous Steve Ashley at Farnsfield in Jan.
