A quick PS. In case anyone thinks I only like complicated music, my favourite song of all time is "Almaz" by Randy Crawford. :-) And seconded with WLD. If you can do the complexity thing and make it sound good, go ahead. If you try and it all turns to worms, either try harder or quit buggering it up. That's as true for someone arranging a full-orchestra version of "Swanee River" as it is for the banjo player trying to insert bluegrass breaks into "Ashokan Farewell" in a tune session. Graham.
