GUEST,bri4daz Chord Req: All American Redneck (Randy Howard) (17) Lyr Add: ALL-AMERICAN REDNECK (Randy Howard) 18 Mar 08

The song with the following lyrics is definitely NOT All American Redneck -- it's called ALL-AMERICAN TRUCKER. I have a version of it and it sounds a lot like David Allan Coe to me - the only problem is, I can't find it on any of DAC's albums. As a matter of fact, I can't find it anywhere on the net. I've tried several Google searches, and even the best source of all: allmusic.com. No where.

I looked up the Geezinslaws on allmusic.com and their lyrics are cleaner than these, that's why I think it's Coe. He has an album called 18 X-Rated Songs, and others of that ilk, and he wrote most of those songs. He does a lot of "blue" material.

As for how to play it, I can't help you.

Lyrics to ALL-AMERICAN TRUCKER.

"Here he comes in his brand new, black, blue jeans,
With a bleached-blonde mama that looks like a bar-room queen.
He's got a beer gut belly he walks strong and proud.
And if you start any shit with him, he'll punch you out.

He kicks ass, he pumps gas, drives a 65 T-bird that runs so fast.
Eats pool-hall chili, drinks what you got on draft.
He's got a pick-up truck, he loves to fuck,
And if you need some pussy, he can fix you up.
He's an all-American trucker. He's got class.

Well, he just bought a CD-player stereo.
Got a dear from Sears from a salesman that he knows.
He's got all the latest country & western hits.
'Cause he thinks disco music is a bunch of shit. (And it is!)

He's got class."
