ok.. sorry.. i never did get round to understand the techie electricy stuff..

so.. please help..

if I was to plug my electic gitar via a passive A/B/Y splitter box

into 2 combo amps at the same time..

a 16 watt with a 12" speaker,
and a 15 watt with an 8"..

and turn the volume up full on both of them to try compete with a drummer..

would I end up being as loud as / louder than

our lead guitarist playing flat out through his single 30 watt amp with a 12" speaker ???


we got to sort out our gear quick for some last minute small club gigs with no adequate PA or sound engineers
to mic up our small combo amps and drums,
which we'd usually do.

actually.. its a bit reminiscent like being a rough & ready
ill-equipped teenage garage band all over again !!!
