Hi everyone,

Just to keep you up to date:-


We have arranged 6 "Make Music Live" Concerts at Ossy Mills, Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, to be held during the season in the marquee (60ft x 30ft approx) in the gardens at Oswaldtwistle Mills. These will take the form of a day of Folk for ARC (Arthritis Research Campaign) under the "Penny Black & Friends" banner.

The six main events will be held on Sundays between 11am and 4pm - 5 hours of music and fun supplemented with ad hoc performances on weekdays (prior to the main events) to advertise them and add to the ARC collection.

15th June - Father's Day - barbecue and other events

Two days of folk for ARC - WOW a mini Folk Festival :0)
(If there's a lot of interest in this weekend we'll see if it can be extended to the Saturday as well)

Those are the main dates and the friends who have already offered their Talents will be contacted individually to see which dates are convenient for them.

Once the events have been finalised, Artistes confirmed etc. we will let everyone know and hopefully you will support the events by letting your friends, club members know and popping by yourselves. Ossy Mills will be extensively covering the events with posters, Radio, and Press cover etc.

P.A. (Bose L1) will be installed in the Marquee, plus mixer, mics etc - so all you will need will be yourself, instrument (plus lead if possible) all equipment is PAT and Public liability of £20,000,000.00 cover is being provided. Power, Lighting and heating will be available in the Marquee. The gardens have picnic area, seating, Take away cafe (food and drink), play areas, Mill pond with wild life etc... a great location for the events.
