I am interested in the lyrics to the song I heard years ago on Harry Seacombe's program Highway. It told the story Caedmon's Hymn. I think it started with
He sang of Hero's dead and gone embracing love and danger.
Stamp your feet and clap your hands as they gathered 'round the manger
the chorus contained the words "just the echo of Caedmon's song"
I tried looking in the DT under various spellings but did not find it.
