I was hoping to do a day trip but the weather conditions put me off the 500 mile round trip. I miss the camarady of the festival, for 18 years it was almost like a home from home. It is a pity that such a internationally renowned event is subject to local political whims, and maybe the festival, and other festivals should start to promote its national significance.
