If you come to York and can get to Flaxton (which is about 10 miles north) on a Wednesday you would be very welcome - there is a B&B in the village which a couple of people have used. Singaround / session with a mix of different sorts - some Irish/Scottish fiddle music, some unaccompanied singing, some chorus stuff, some accompanied songs etc etc On an average evening somewhere between 25 and 35 people there of which something like 15 sing or play. Start about 8.30 finish when we finish (11:30 - 12:00 ish) And there is a Castle at Sheriff Hutton about 3 miles away!
