Spring has finally arrived and it's time to book up your summer full of music and festivals!

There's still time to apply…
Applications are coming in for Ethno England and there's still time to apply – so far we have had participants interested from England, France, Ghana, Scotland, Russia, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe.

ARTISTIC LEADER team complete…..
The Artistic Leader team is now confirmed, and we're delighted to welcome Danish fiddle player Kristian Bugge to join Jo Freya (England) and N'faly Kouyate (Guinea).

YOUNG LEADER opportunities….
Would you like to the opportunity to be a Young Leader at Ethno England 2008?

Ethno England are looking for two Young Leaders aged 18 to 30, to assist with the running of the week camp from 17 – 23 August at Sneaton Castle, Whitby.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the running of an international music event, supporting the artistic delivery during workshops and informal activities and have the opportunity to further your musical career and experiences. Young Leaders are a valuable addition to the Artistic Leader team and ensure that the participants have a positive and exciting Ethno experience.

The Young Leader role will include assisting with the running of the camp and supporting the Artistic Leader team, organising and leading a range of appropriate informal break-out activities, ensuring the participants are integrating with one another and being the first point of contact for the participants. Ethno England will provide accommodation, food and entry to some Whitby Folk Week events.

If you are interested in applying or would like more information, please contact info@ethnoengland.co.uk
