The winning caption was something like " Nick was really pleased when the daffodil bulbs he planted in infant school finally came up!" Other good ones were "Local Councillor found inebriated in flowerbed" which Nick thought was too much like the truth! My favourite was "Garden Gnomes are getting bigger these days!" Hope to see some of you at Oxford tomorrow.... only going for the day, but will certainly be making the most of Crediton next weekend. Have sorted out our fancy dress for the Mad Hatters Teaparty today! Merek'n'Dary
