The Boy had a primary school teacher called Miss Leaning, universally known as Miss Leading. Then she got married and became Mrs. Knibbs. Roald Dahl was very popular at the time (back then primary school kids did education rather than SATs and "brain gym")- so she immediatley became Mrs. Vermicious Knidds.
