Thank you for starting this thread BlueJay.

Rampal's work had a significant influence on my musical development when I was a teenager. He was the ultimate epitome of perfection in flute performance. A flute teacher encouraged me to listen to great flute playing as a way to improve my own, and Rampal was the performer I listened to. And now my daughter is fascinated with his work, also. He is truly one of the greats.

I did a quick search at amazon in the classical store for Rampal and not surprisingly there are 115 items listed.
