Folk on the Moor is brilliant as is Bodmin Folk Club (and they were both in the South west last time I looked). Two other great favourites of mine (though notmin the South West, are the Everyman in Suffolk - well run, well attended, great atmosphere, and the Black Diamond in Birmingham is also excellent, with fantastic chorus singing and really good bunch of regular singers.
