I think belly buttons have made a resurgence with the rise in popularity of piercings for girls, this being a favoured spot, you don't want go through all that and not show it off, do you? I also feel that,sadly, as thiness is the new(ish) God amongst women, they like to show off their fat free waistlines, or prove they have them. I've always wondered why belly buttons collect fluff, and why is it always blue?
