We could all learn so much more" Exactly, Ron. I believe I have posted in the past that I'm one quarter Scots, one quarter Welsh...my other half, as it were is North American Native, Mohawk. I also enjoy and sing the English Tradition, The Maritime traditions, both west and east coasts of North America, Sandy Denny, the list is endless...oh yes and I've also been known to sing the odd song recorded by The Band LOL As you say we could, and can, learn a whole lot more.
